About

Montserrat Piña Benetts (1992, Mexico City)is a designer and artist focused on material exploration as a practice of transformation and perceptual ambiguity. Her work centers on stone, approached as a sculptural medium whose identity can be altered through color, texture, and form until it becomes unexpected. In parallel, she develops objects and furniture through experimental processes that blur the boundaries between the organic and the synthetic, integrating accident and variation as essential elements of her creative language. Her work has been presented in art and design exhibitions in Mexico and Europe.
