This installation invites the viewer to enter a welcoming space, filled with warmth and comfort, like a comforting maternal refuge. At the same time, The Nest boldly bursts into the space, symbolizing the courage and effort required to dare to create something unique and meaningful.
The Nest is a reminder of women's capacity for creation and transformation, of strength and resilience. The Nest was the result of a residency in Valle de Guadalupe, created by salvaging waste material from the Shedeh winery to generate experimental furniture, which would be used in a relaxation space during the "Madre Uva" harvest festival.
