Tragaluz is a clock that transcends the conventional notion of time, moving away from the rigidity of numerical digits to present itself as an object that represents time as a fluid spectrum of nuances. This clock challenges our usual perception of time, inviting us to contemplate it not as an implacable force, but as a projection of constantly changing emotions.
"Tragaluz" is a wall clock made of lacquered MDF and frosted acrylic. It projects color gradients related to the tones of the sky, which coincide with the actual time but translate the time of day with a series of varying hues. It is the product of an interdisciplinary collaboration between Montserrat Piña and Lenin Silva Gutiérrez.
